Did somebody say……SUMMER??

Yes ok, our favorite season may still be a full month away but for many it’s already begun and those for who it has not, fear not, those sunny days are coming (if you’re in the southern hemisphere, winter is cool too I guess). It’s without a doubt the best period for EDM fans with artists touring massively around the world, festivals popping up left and right and of course, new music. New Avicii, Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold, Alesso, Laidback Luke and (deep breath) Pryda. The legendary Swedish producer is finally releasing his long awaited album and we’ve got one of his tracks right here, just for you.

Huge week in the EDM world with releases from Dirty South, Hardwell and Afrojack, the latter collaborating with Shermanology to create what will surely be a hit across dance floors and concerts (think “Take Over Control”). Skeet Skeet is also back, following up on their “Pumped Up Kicks” remix (arguably one of the best), along with others like Eric Prydz, the beautiful NERVO twins and Laidback Luke. Enjoy.

RCP Exclusive [#1] // Interview With Aylen

2011 ended hugely for Aylen, with his remixes trending nice and high on Hypem charts and a bumpin’ Dec 29th set at Pacha NYC alongside Afrojack, R3hab, Bobby Burns and Apster. Throughout the year, this New Jersey based producer/DJ had been keeping busy churning out remixes for tracks as hot as Avicii’s ‘Blessed’, David Guetta’s ‘Without You’, and Laidback Luke’s & Steve Aoki’s ‘Turbulence’. His latest creation, a remix of Skrillex and Ellie Goulding’s ‘Summit’, went wild on the blogoshpere and carried the hype behind Aylen to new heights – and this is just the beginning. Delayed Manic Monday [#3]

As it turns out, traveling and blogging don’t quite go hand in hand. At least when you have infrequent internet access to make frequent posts. But, as I always say, better late than never.
