I don’t see why moombahton (learn about it here) is getting so much crap from haters lately. There are a lot of moombahton originals really doing this new ‘genre’ justice, and there are tons of remixes out there to complement this new movement. But haters gon hate, and they’re saying that it doesn’t deserve to be a genre because if you take any dutch house song (think one of those Chuckie remixes) and slow it down to 108-110 bpm, you’ve got yourself a moombahton bootleg. I agree to a certain extent – there exist a lot of ‘moombahton edit’s that follow that same principle:
- Slow it down to 108-110bpm.
- Add that dirty dutch drum track.
- Add ‘Moombahton Edit/Remix’ after your name to the title of the song.
