It Pains Me to Say It…

Yet another post from the part of my brain I feel most contemptuous towards; the part that likes electronic beats. This time it’s a band that I simply like listening to but I must preface it with these words: I refuse to analyze it as I might snap out of the synthetic psuedo-synical stupor surrounding said cerebellum succumbing to sudden realization that I’ve been cheated by ‘sweet sounds’ or in your case (the reader) semantic sibilance. In other words it’s very easy to be enamored by hearing the same sound over and over again even if it feels cheap.

I was thinking about the annoyance I feel with regards to remixes. I was also thinking about how disappointed I was with the Florence and the Machine album. One of the only good songs is you’ve got the love and it happens to be a remix of a dance tune which made me do three things; sit back in my chair from my computer; face palm and then proceeded to make this face:
