Everything In Its Right Place // Geskia

First I should say that I am currently doing the exact opposite of what is described when using the expression ‘rats fleeing a sinking ship’. The flotilla that is Radio Control Plan is buoyant, alive and fringing fame at every turn. Literally none of you will remember when I used to write for RCP even though it wasn’t that long ago, so you’ll be happy to know I’m back.

Geskia, based in Tokyo, bring you what is described as post-IDM electronica. It speaks for itself with ambient tones hogging the spotlight whilst the bass hangs out at the bar buying you drinks. This music is perfect for scouring your digital imagination conjuring, esoteric thoughts and moods. It’s not for everyone but if you’re reading RCP you’ve already escaped that circle.

The first song is from the album Muon and showcases the ambient side to Geskia.

The second song from the album Silent 77 has much more hip-hoppy vibes.

Geskia – Were Saw

There is nothing I would rather do than listen to that last track whilst the April Showers strut and fret their hour upon the stage against my window.
