Decemberkid – The December Edition (2011)
The crew here at Radio Control Plan has been thus far super stoked to have Indonesia’s second greatest DJ in our team (behind Angger Dimas). Ikhsan M. Bimoseno, otherwise known to us and his followers has DCMBRKD, has been spinning all up and down the Vancouver electronic dance music scene, providing the soundtrack for 3 assaults, 18 instances of pickpocketing, a kidnapping, and over 2,000 hookups since his first gig at a huge private new year’s event in Singapore on Dec 31st 2010 – which is coincidentally his birthday
This virtuoso won’t ever disappoint. He’s got an ear for mixing in key, and is a perfectionist when it comes to the mixes he posts on his soundcloud. This guy’s got enough knowhow to set your iTunes library on fire with the music he’s got hoarded up on his laptop – expect the unexpected. Ikhsan’s currently enrolled in an audio engineering program in Singapore, the Lion fucking City. With this raw talent rubbing shoulders – and vinyls – with some music industry veterans such as DJ Koflow, things are only looking up for this beast; and you best be jumping on this bandwagon before he becomes too cool for school.
