I’ve been a bit behind on postings recently, what with lots of work and a bit of travel, but hey, what’s a guy to do? Instead of offering an apology, because I’m far too awesome to humble myself to that extent, here are some bangin’ electro tunes to get you off your ass on another shitty Monday.

If you’re clever, you’ll have checked out Nine Lives’ post on the relatively new genre moombahton from a while ago. And if you’re really clever, you’ll have realized that moombahton, the hybrid lovechild of sexy reggaeton and intense electro, is really fucking hype. Well, here, a genius by the name of Relok took Skrillex banger Ruffneck off his recent release More Monsters And Sprites, and added some of that crazy latino fire. You know, the same kind that makes Adriana Lima such a buckwild nympho… In my imagination.
DJ Fresh – Gold Dust (K-Theory & Pillijah Remix)

I am a fan of drum ‘n bass. I think it’s the perfect music for blasting down empty highways or working out, so what better place to introduce this ‘d&b’ tune than on the cusp of what many people call the groggiest day of the week? A high paced remix that will definitely put some spring in your step.
Mightyfools – World Tour (Original Mix)

This last tune is appropriate for both Mondays and Fridays. Produced by the Mightyfools, who luckily did not tread the Dutch house path of their fellow countrymen Afrojack and Sidney Samson, and released by Belgian electro powerhouse label Lektroluv, this track has a sick little wobble that’ll steadily keep your head bobbing throughout the track. And I dare you to try and not get hyped up by the catchy, beep-laden build.
